Most homeowners don't realize how much dirt accumulates in window tracks until they see what comes out. Pollen, sand, dead insects, drywall dust from old renos — it builds into a black sludge along the bottom of every slider. Cleaning the glass without addressing the tracks leaves a job that looks half-done.
Screens are gently removed, labelled so each one returns to the right window, then washed in a soapy bath with a soft brush. We rinse them clear, let them dry, and reseat them straight. Bent frames are tweaked back into shape on the spot.
Tracks are vacuumed first to remove the bulk debris, then detailed with stiff bristle brushes and microfibre to get into the corners and weep holes. Working drainage holes are critical — that's how rainwater escapes instead of pooling against your sill.
