A post-construction window clean is a different job from a regular wash. Paint over-spray, joint compound, stucco splatter, silicone smears, sticker glue and a thick film of construction dust have to be physically and chemically removed — not just wiped.
Our process starts with an inspection for tempered glass markings (the small etched stamp in the corner). Tempered glass is scratch-prone and never gets a scraper. Non-tempered glass is razor-scraped at the correct angle, with constant lubrication, to lift paint and stucco without marring the surface.
After scraping, we treat any remaining adhesive residue with citrus-based remover, do a full wash of glass and frames, and walk the property with the builder or homeowner for sign-off. We work on a per-window basis or a full-house flat rate, with volume pricing for GCs and custom builders.
