Blocked eavestroughs quietly cause more expensive damage than almost any other exterior issue we see. Once a trough overflows, water sheets down the foundation instead of running to the downspout — and over a few seasons that turns into damp basements, hairline cracks in the footings, and ice dams that work their way up under the shingles.

Emptying the trough is only half the job. The inside also collects a sticky organic film — decayed leaf matter, pollen, shingle granules — that holds moisture and stains the aluminum. Our crew hand-pulls every leaf, twig and (more than once) lost ball out of each run, then treats the interior with an enzyme cleaner that breaks the film down and slows it from rebuilding. Every downspout gets a hose test to confirm it flows, and any hanger that has pulled away from the fascia is re-seated on the spot — no upcharge.

The whitening pass is what most companies skip. Those dark vertical streaks on the front of aluminum gutters aren't dirt — they're oxidation, and ordinary soap won't touch them. We brush on a dedicated gutter brightener that lifts the oxidation chemically, so the trough looks freshly installed when we're packing up.
